Dr. Edwin Matthews, MD

Please avoid going to Dr.Edwin C Matthews. He perform unnecessary tests without even bother to inform Patient about those tests and never utter a single word whether those tests will be covered by the insurance or not. My brother just went for his Annual health check which was fully covered by his insurance but ends up getting good amount to be paying from his pocket. DO NOT TRUST this doctor.

I take my father-in-law to Dr. Matthews, who has been his patient for many years. Dr. Matthews is knowledgeable and friendly, taking time to explain everything to my father-in-law even though he suffers from Alzheimer's. He is a rare find, in a computer driven, government intrusive, practice of medicine that seems to have lost it purpose and loyalty to the ideas of the Hippocratic oath. You can't go wrong seeing him.

Dr Matthews makes you feel relaxed and is willing to listen to you. He explains his findings and makes sure you understand his findings and treatment prescribed. You don't feel rushed in his presence like you do other physicians.

The nurses in the office are clueless and have no Ideal what patient care is. Its unfortunate that the Dr Has this working there.

Dr. Matthews is that rare find in today's world. He sits and talks to you and listens to your concerns. Patient, kind and he has a great sense of humor as well.

Dr. Matthews was recommended to me by another patient. His practice is large but he still takes time to see each one as much as possible. Great diagnostician and caring person. Enjoys practicing medicine and helping people. Great, knowledgeable doctor and good internist with a superior knowledge for treating unusual conditions.A real live "House", but someone who cares and balances his knowledge with your needs and understanding. He takes time and works diligently to solve your particular medical needs. He understands that every case is different and requires a different perspective and does so with grace and compassion. His staff is caring, friendly and recognizes you by name. Even with the explosive growth of his practice he still takes the time to smile, ask about you and your family and ease into a discussion of even very complex subjects making certain that you understand each and every facet of your treatment. Great doctor and good caring person.
