Dr Alyea has been on my medical team at Dana Farber since first going there. As my Stem Cell Transplant grew closer he took over my transplant and care as it is his specialty field. Extremely knowledgeable and personable, I have absolute confidence and respect for him.

Dr Alyea is a very experienced specialist with excellent staff that takes care of patients, scheduling appointments and making sure everything is done right.However, when it comes to him personally following up a patient, many times we had trouble getting appointment with him, or getting him on the phone or plain getting him to follow patients history (sometimes he seam like he is unaware of the new developments that he was notified of). We are hoping that all the decisions that are being made regarding our case are the correct once and that there would be no mistakes to regret.We just wish that Dr. Alyea would be a bit more accessible and more aware of each of his patients regarding
