Dr. Edwin Peak

Look out for infections! Dr. Peak did a knee replacement for me when he was at Hickory, NC! I got MRSA! I was not the only patient that contracted MRSA after replacement surgery! He left Hickory and went to Georgia! He was supposed to have forwarded my medical records to a revision doctor in Charlotte, NC but he left and never forwarded any patients records!

This doctor takes assignments from Workmans comp. and denies treatment from those who need it. I needed an injection procedure that would stimulate a herniated area below C-6. Dr. Peak, rejected the request and went against my spinal surgeon recommendations. This Dr. doesn't know me or my surgeon, and he doesn't practice in California. He is a arm chair doctor that takes Workmans comp. cases and rejects request for easy money. They need to change the system and get rid of doctors like him.

There is nothing negative I can say about my total knee replacement last year. Dr. Peak performed a miracle and I can't thank him enough for my active life back. No more pain. I can walk as much as I wish to....and I love to walk!

you must wait forever he x-rays you every visit and you never know who you will see him or one of his PA's

I originally saw Dr. Peak for a Total Knee Replacement Joint failure that was only 1 1/2 years old. After considerable testing, and much prayer/consideration, he did a total knee revision on my right knee. I cannot say enough good things about his surgical ability. My range of motion was greater while in the hospital than it had ever previously been with the prior knee replacement. He spent 5 hours fixing my knee so that I can live a full life once again. Since my surgery 4 months ago, I have gained greater range of motion than I ever expected and have very little pain/discomfort. I would highly recommend Dr. Peak to anyone who needs joint replacement or is having difficulty with a joint that needs revision. The only negative thing is the wait time in his office. He spends time with his patients, therefore you will have to wait, so bring a good book. It is worth the wait!
