Dr Wingkun was professional and thorough. He took many notes and listened. He seems to go the extra mile to cover everything and be certain to provide necessary tests for diagnosis. Smart and caring.

Dr. Wingkun is an excellent physician! Courteous, extremely skilled and thorough in his evaluation/diagnosis. He takes the time to listen and shows a deep concern and empathy for his patients. He is the finest in his field! I have experienced a quick turn around time in returning calls. I highly recommend Dr. Wingkun.

I respect this doctor for his honesty. I have an illness specific to the region where I once lived. During my 1st appointment with him, he was very forthright by stating that he and the practitioners in his office are unfamiliar with treating my condition and he didn't want to waste my time and offered a referral to a specialty center. I was not charged for the appt. He stated that , he only had 5 other patients with my condition. His honesty didn't waste my time, hopes, money, gas, and time. That level of honesty is not often scene, hence, I highly respect him.

Dr. Wingkun is a great neuro and I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to him, I actually already have. He's more than competent and very focused. His assistant is extremely nice, once you get her on the phone. I've been waiting over 2 weeks now for a call back from her regarding a fairly straightforward question and that is why I gave only 2 out of 4 stars for "courteous staff". She must be seriously overwhelmed by her responsibilities because getting a return call for scheduling procedures or general questions is very difficult and can take upwards of a week, unless you are retired and are able to continually try to call back and get her on the phone. I don't think that it's laziness or a lack of attention on the assistant's part, but more a situation where she's doing the job of 2 or 3 people. Having said that, it is no less frustrating and if you are a person who requires immediate attention or who EXPECTS to be called back the same day, this may not be the place for… you. Dr. Wingkun, though, is great and very hands-on, so if you can deal with slow response time from his office, he is well worth the frustration. He does his own EMG's on patients instead of farming those out to a tech, which is almost unheard of with neuros in Florida. Since we didn't find what we were looking for, diagnostically speaking, I sadly won't be his patient (I suppose that's a good thing) and he did refer me to a rheum for further diagnostics. Finally, this practice jumped through hoops to accommodate this uninsured patient, putting medical care into my reach, financially speaking, and for that, I will always be grateful to them. Dr. Wingkun saw to it that I was able to get the tests that I needed and without going bankrupt. He also spent a lot of time with me during each of my appointments and it was clear that he had a good grasp on what I am experiencing and what my next steps should be. I only wish that he was able to diagnose autoimmune conditions as well as neurological because I believe that he is a doctor who would not stop investigating until he got answers. Not many docs in Palm Beach County seem motivated to diagnose and much of the care here is disjointed and sloppy. I got the opposite impression from Dr. Wingkun and, as I've said, I'm only sorry that he can't be of further help to me because he is one of the few good docs in the area.
