Dr. Effat Jehan, MD

I needed a physical for work and my old Doctor retired so they connected me with Dr. J. She was new to the practice. And was great. Went over everything with me and answered all my questions. Very thorough.

I had a very limited check up for a physical. More like a 10 minute question and answer period. Blood work was limited as well. Cannot find a Good primary that takes new patients. Sad!

I was her patient for 1 year. After the first couple of visits I would have rather seen the NP. Dr.Jehan DID NOT listen to me AT ALL. I got in a car accident with a concussion. It was obvious that I needed to see a neurologist and it took her OVER 6 months to send me anywhere. She did not listen to anything I said. She sent me to physical therapy for the car accident. It has been almost a year and nothing has changed. Maybe if she would’ve gotten me in somewhere sooner I wouldn’t be in so much pain STILL. I now have a new dr that listens to me better than Dr.Jehan has ever listened to me.

I went in for lower back pain. She accurately diagnosed the issue and prescribed effective medicine (not pain killers). I started to feel better in a couple of days and am pain free now at two weeks.

Dr. Jehan was very pleasent and up beat. She asked if I would be willing to start with a slower none invasive treatment. I agreed and started physical thearapy. Within 4 weeks I could walk or stand for an hour without pain. With degenerative disk disease I know I will never feel 30 or even 40 again, but can live without pain with alittle work. If the pain returns and can not be controled with PT and exercise, then we can go for a more invasive treatment. I am happy she sugguested a slow approach and not jump into an agressive invasive treatmemt. She let me know that if I ever had need I could go back to her at anytime.

Dr has very few skills, the ones she has are very poor
