Dr. Egbert Miranda, MD

Saw Dr Miranda 7/1/25 for medication management after complete thyroidectomy in 2/25. Found him to be rude, cold and with little compassion. He sat behind his desk wearing a mask and stared at his laptop the whole time. Would not answer my questions, simply stating" every body is different ".

I have never encountered a doctor with such horrible bedside manner. Its like I am an inconvenience to him. He is very blunt and rude.

Very rude person. Does not like patients to ask questions. Would not recommend at all!

I went to see him and felt like i was a TOTAL inconvenience to his day. I asked questions which were pretty basic but he did not answer them. Overall he was just extremely rude and as a patient he didn't answer any of my questions. After the fact I told my primary care doctor that I did NOT want to go to him again. While is staff was very kind he unfortunately was not. I first thought it was just a bad day for him but after a second visit (where he behaved exactly the same) and reading these reviews I felt I needed to write this.

I have never experienced something as bizarre as this doctor's visit with my family member. The doctor does not allow anyone to speak or ask him any questions (I am NOT a shrinking wallflower and he literally shut me down when I tried to ask a question). He sits at his desk, typing on his computer, supposedly entering patient info, and never even examined my family member by the 2nd office visit. Was unaware of vital health history because we were not "allowed" to talk. Unbelievable. I am shocked he is still practicing and surprised anyone has given him more than 1 star. The 5 stars must be family members. We will NOT be going back to this horrible excuse of a doctor. I would highly recommend you find another doctor if you are considering seeing "Dr." Miranda.

He dismissed my questions, reprimanded me when I tried to ask him something, & condescending when talking to me. He has a horrible bedside manner. Looking for another endocrinologist!

Fist he cancel appointment 30 minutes before my appointment, then he didn’t do what my doctor send me there to, then yelling told me I am about to die and gave me extra pills, went back to my doctor and told me I don’t have anything to worry about, and I don’t need those pills.. he is very arrogant and he thinks he knows everything.. when he doesn’t even do the exams he has to, but decides he knows I am dying

This doctor is an idiot

I had my initial consultation with Dr E. Miranda this morning, I was inquiring about low testosterone. When I asked him what he recommended, he told me “You will have to let me do my job. I am writing notes for the nurse.” To which I replied, “I don’t know if this is going to work if I can’t ask you questions.” Dr. Miranda then said, “ok.” and jumped up from his chair to escort me out of his office into the nurses area. He then announced to the nurses and patients, “This gentleman will not be a patient here.” and he turned around and went directly back into his office. I am a very disciplined and considerate person at no time did I say anything disrespectful or unprofessional. I asked the nurses, “Am I not suppose to ask Dr Miranda questions?” They seemed puzzled. Hopefully he was having a bad moment and treats other potential patients more professionally. I spoke to several patients(ex-military) and they seemed pleased with the Dr. As I said, hopefully this was just a one time… episode.
