Dr. Egle Berzinskas, MD

I've been with Dr. B. For over 14 years and remain completely satisfied, today's OB-GYN appointment was fantastic as always, . I wouldn't trade this care for anything.

Unprofessional, doesn't follow through, lack of patient empathy, violates the Hippocratic Oath... Dr. Berzinskas failed to put a prescription through for my daughter (a new patient), despite being asked multiple times by myself and our insurance company, despite an in-person visit, despite agreeing - in writing - to do so... after months of pain and suffering, she finally DENIED care and went back on her word to provide a refill for a medication that my daughter has been taking for years. She did this because my daughter missed an appointment. Retaliation for a missed appointment is a direct violation of the Hippocratic Oath, especially when a young girl is experiencing inexplicable amounts of pain. Horrifying.

I was very hopeful about meeting Dr. Berzinskas since she was highly raved by several people, including my primary care doctor. I was very excited to not only meet her but to ask questions because this is my first pregnancy. The staff was friendly. Several of them even told me that she was "amazing" and "a really good doctor." Another good sign that she was popular was the fact that her schedule was so booked. The receptionist was so nice when I made my appointment. She squeezed me in even though Dr. B was double booked. Upon my arrival, the front desk personnel let me know that my appointment was going to be pushed back 30 minutes. I was okay with it because as someone who has worked in an OBGYN office before I understand that things happen. I know that morning procedures can delay office visits so I understood and it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Berzinskas enters the exam room and after that it was a whirlwind. I felt like I was on speed round on a game show. Literally attempting to… ask questions in between her rapidly spitting out information. She was abrupt and dismissed my concerns. I understood she was rushed but this being my first pregnancy, I just expected more. As a current ER nurse I get it, you have other patients you have to see so you tend to have them in the back of your head when you're with your current patient. However, when I went to my primary care doctor and informed her I was pregnant, she sat down, spent more time with me and answered my questions more in depth than Dr. B did. I had the feeling that she could not care any less about me or my baby. I was just a number to her. I did want to give her another chance, hoping that the day was hectic and maybe she was just rushed but after reading reviews and hearing experiences similar to my own I am deciding to find another OB.

I was told by this doctor that I had poly cystic-ovary syndrome . I was treated with hormones and metformin. However, I had uterine cancer. I just want her to be aware of what trouble and pain she caused me and to check every answer before just assuming and if you don’t know then refer your patients to someone who does. I have fought 2 battles of cancer since. I only wonder what would have happened if I had found out sooner.

If you have any female problems?? She is the one to see!!

I would recommend her to any pregnant women. There is no waiting time. Her staff and she herself is very considerate. During my 1st pregnancy I was 42 weeks but she never advised me for induction . She asked me to wait for natural contractions and my delivery was very smooth .

Every time I call to schedule or speak to the nurse I go through some corporate phone center and am on hold for 5 minutes before I even get to speak to someone. Then they have to send a message to have someone call me back. It is annoying and frustrating.

If you like being spoken down to, being treated like garbage and having to argue with your doctor to get anything done , use Doctor Berzinskas. She is rude and rushes you out of appointments. Has absoultely no bedside manner at all. I left her practice due to not wanting her by my side when I deliver my baby.

Dr B is a great OBGYN

Dr. Berzinskas (aka Dr. B. ) was the first doctor I saw when I moved to Texas. She's very personable, friendly and puts you at ease with even the most uncomfortable procedures. She has accurately pin-pointed my health issues and now I'm on track to a healthier me. She performed my surgery also and I feel so much better. She and Dr. James Peterson are the best surgeons in the DFW area.
