Dr. Mady is a wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner. He makes you look forward to your visit instead of dreading it!

Due to some medical issues I've seen quite a few doctors in the last couple years. Dr. Mady is one of the best if not the best physician I've seen. He truly cares about his patients. After my recent procedure I had a question so I called the office, I was surprised when he picked up the phone after the receptionist put me on hold. I don't know if I've ever had a doctor answer one of my calls. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

Dr. Mady saw my 75 year old mother prior to a surgery she was scheduled for. Her orthopedic surgeon had some concerns and wanted Dr. Mady to examine her before surgery (temporarily handling her blood thinning issues and upcoming plan of treatment). We never expected to meet such an exceptionally caring doctor. Dr. Mady appeared in the waiting room of his office to greet his patients beforehand, shake their hands and ask how they were doing! We were shocked. How unusually warm and wonderful for a doctor! His office staff was polite and efficient too. When we met with Dr. Mady in the exam room, he had already read through my mother's medical records the night before (She has a LONG history of medical problems.) and knew exactly what was going on with her health. He patiently listened to us tell him her medical history and our concerns about her surgery and her history of serious blood clots. He was extremely good at communicating. He gave us sound medical advice and provided us with… examples and easy to understand reasons for his recommended medical treatment. He cited findings of related up to date medical studies (He is up to date on the latest medical research and must read medical research publications daily!) and knew a lot about drug interactions and side effects of medications my mother was on, some of which were eye opening to us. It turned out that she should not have been taking certain medications, which other doctors had too freely prescribed. In fact, some of those medications could have put her at risk and may have contributed to a recent stroke of hers! The morning of my mother's surgery, Dr. Mady voluntarily came to the hospital (although he wasn't required to) to ensure that my mother's pre-surgical care was being handled correctly. To make a long story short, my mother's orthopedic surgery went smoothly and she had no issues with the course of treatment Dr. Mady carefully planned for her. Now that her surgery is over and she has faired so well, we now plan on keeping Dr. Mady as her doctor so he can oversee her medical care from now on. Dr. Mady treats his patients with the utmost care and makes each one feel like a VIP.
