Dr. Eileen Silkwen Chan, MD

My two children have gone to Dr. Chan for years. While I think she is a good (but not great doctor), my biggest complaint is the wait time required to see her. It is nearly always a 40 minute wait AT LEAST, but the last straw was a few weeks ago.I took my son in for his annual check-up. As usual, we were escorted into the exam room and I was told to strip my little guy down to his pull-ups and wait for the doctor. We waited in that cold room, with my son nearly naked, for 30 minutes (in addition to the 10 we waited in the waiting room). I finally walked out to complain and it was then, and only then, did Dr. Chan come in to see us. As usual, she apologized for the delay but this time told me there was a computer problem. Really? Our exam last all of 7 minutes, and she couldn't take time out to see my son--who she knew was naked and waiting for her--for such a quick exam? This was just further proof that as a pediatrician, her top priority is not her little clients and as such, we will… not be seeing her anymore

You can not ask for a better pidiatrition .

"Dr. Eileen" as she's known is wonderful. Very sharp and experienced with terrific bedside manor for both the kids and the parents.
