Dr. Eileen Chia-Lin Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is great! I don't think any other doctor has spent as much time with me as she has, which is quite the rarity in this time and age of healthcare. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an Infertility doctor.

I'm usually too busy to rate anyone online, but if i do, an outstanding job has to be done by someone with a WOW factor, obviously Dr. Chen made it.

Eilleen Chen is the best doctori have ever seen. She is very practical and explains everything to the patient . She helped me a lot in treating infertility. Following all her instructions helped me in conceiving a baby . She answers all your questions and appointments doesn't take longer than 30 minutes. Once during a fertility cycle she came for me on a Christmas Day and that's the heart melting moment for me and my partner . She is focused on getting you pregnant which hardly few doctors do! I would strongly strongly recommend her for anyone seeking a baby:) If you follow her instructions you will see a result soon !!!

Getting a visitation was rather easy. I explained to her my symptoms, she prescribed medication which had no effect. For her intellectual analysis she chased me after money like a beggar.She should be reported for bad business ethics.

I found this doctor on my insurance companies website. As I had no time to look for another doctor I decided to make an appointment with dr. Chen. I came an hour before the end of her working day. During my interview she was in a hurry, she was impatient and indicated to me that she had not much time to speak with me. When my test was resolved, the issued a prescription. I asked her to send it to a local pharmacy so that it would be convienient for me, but she refused and indicated that i must come to her office to pick it up. When i arrived, i asked her to aslo give me a copy of my laboratory test results. SHE charged me $20 for a piece of paper.The issue with insurace was a unbelievable headache! She sent an invoice to me, which i paid. Then sent an invoice to the insurance company, which they paid. And she sent another invoice (FOR THE SAME THING, IN THE SAME AMOUNT) for the laboratory work. She received payment 3 times for the same thing.

I am writing this during my first IVF cycle with Dr. Chen. TTC for 3 years, I have seen 3 other doctors at 2 different fertility centers. I used to accept the "herding cattle" mentality of those other clinics, but at my husband's urging, I sought another clinic and found Dr. Chen. I now know what it means to have a GREAT doctor! Dr. Chen is awesome. She is kind, caring, and treats me like an individual human being (not cattle!) She takes the time to explain each new medicine we try, answer my questions, and is sensitive to any unique financial or emotional concerns I might have. I have never felt rushed during my office visits. Whenever I call the office to leave a question/message with her staff, Dr. Chen always returns my calls personally on the same or next day. She has even made herself available via cell phone, even on weekends (yes, I called her once on a Sunday). I have been with Dr. Chen for 6 months now, treated for PCOS issues, an IUI cycle, and now an IVF cycle --… at each step, I have always received the best individualized care, attention, and treatment. One reviewer made a negative comment about her bedside manner -- it is true that Dr. Chen can be very serious -- but really who wants a phony doctor? Dr. Chen explains the WHOLE picture, the bad news as well as the good news. She is honest, open, and takes her job of getting me pregnant very seriously! My previous doctor was the phony, "paint a rosy picture" sort who never explained to me the success rates of IUI are very low (and instead, that particular phony doctor let me blindly continue with more unsuccessful IUI cycles). I much prefer Dr. Chen, who has been pragmatic and honest with me each step of the way. I am crossing my fingers for success this cycle, but I also know I will return to Dr. Chen no matter the outcome because I trust her completely with my care.

The person below didn't know what she was talking about. Dr Chen was the nicest doctor I've ever met. I don't think you can find a more patient infertility specialist.

She has awful bedside manner. She doesn't really care about patients. I would stay away from her. As infertility patients, we deserve better treatment and care that she provides.Please seek a second opinion, there are so many better qualified doctors out there. Stay out of this doc!

Dr Chen is not only smart, but also the most caring doctor we've ever had! We first heard of her from a friend's friend who had successful IVF with her at Kaiser Permanente. And now I'm pregnant myself! We'll definitely come to her again for our second baby.

I had a very good experience with Dr.Eileen, Its all because of her help, was able to diagnose my problem and I am really thankful to her. She is knowledgeable, caring and have loads of patience to answer all our questions. would definitely recommend her
