she came to see me every day in the hospital with her kind words and if it wasn't for her I would of gone blind, she saved my eye sight by sending me to a very good eye dr so kudos to her 100 %

She was the most unprofessional doctor I've ever experienced in my life. Her place is unkempt, and I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. She has no secretary so be prepared to sit there for 30 minutes filling out paperwork with her before she takes your heartrate, checks your tonsils, and does the hammer-reflex thing (she also hammered my head as a joke----something that might be funny if I were a CHILD). wacky lady. NEVER going back. BE WARNED.

UNBELIEVABLY BAD!!! This woman has no business practicing medicine. Went to her b/c her office is in my bldg; should have suspected something when she answered phone herself at 2 pm and told me to come down whenever I wanted that afternoon. Office is a dirty and musty apartment w/ cats running around freely; no receptionist or staff, though an old woman in a housedress was sitting behing front desk (her mother maybe?), doing nothing. But my experience during my appt blew all this away. First, she was incredibly abrupt and defensive whenever I had a question. And upon listening to my complaints she IMMEDIATELY gave me consent and pre-procedure forms, and starting trying to convince me to have both and endoscopy (upper GI) AND colonoscopy (lower) the NEXT DAY!! But by far the worst aspect was her several cats roaming free around the office/exam room, including sitting on her keyboard while she was trying to type information. And then I noticed that the litter box was also in the… room, placed dangerously close to the exam table. I say dangerously b/c cat feces can carry a microbe that causes a very serious brain infection called toxoplasmosis, to which fetuses are particularly susceptible. In other words, if a pregnant woman was unaware of this fact, or doesn't know she's pregnant, Dr. Colligan could be potentially exposing these women to a terrible risk for their developing babies. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Living in NYC, I have seen a lot of bad doctors, but this was a whole new level of scarry. I called on a weekday in the morning and was able to make an appointment same day. I arrive to a small and very very hot waiting room and have to wait for an hour. Then I have to wait while the doctor (she has no receptionist or nurse) manually enters my insurance and health history. Which wouldn't have been too terrible if she had been remotely computer literate. I have no problems with experienced physicians but this woman was well overdue for retirement. I had to repeat everying 2-3 times because she seems to be hard of hearing. So 25 minutes later after the form is filled out, she begins examining me. I came in with a stomach ache so I was confused when she continued to examine everything but my stomach. She then prescribed an antiacid eventhough I have never had heartburn. No explanation given. After the exam I asked if I could put my co-pay on a credit card...but of course she doesn't take… credit cards.
