Do yourself a favor and just come here first. I went to the ER twice where they literally tried pushing my intestines back (with their hand) up thru the wall tear of my inguinal hernia. Typical man's hernia. Both times they failed and I'm not even sure I wanted them to succeed at that? Yikes. Long story short, I had a hernia that would often flare up to the point where my only option was to bee-line home and lay on my back. After her surgery, it's like nothing ever happened there. She was the ideal doctor from start to finish. Not all docs are like that, trust me. Much love. Very nice lady.

She saved my life. I think she has a keen eye for something that looks out of place, or not quite right. With just a in office visit she scanned me and was able to call me back for a biopsy. My mammogram was retested but was told i was fine. I am grateful for this doctor who saw something out of sorts and determined that the biopsy could tell whether she was right or wrong. One thing i know if she hadn't done what she did i might be in a different place. She gave the opportunity to fight my cancer. I found out later i had two different cancers in the same side. My cancer is in my tissue. It took 8 rounds of chemo and 35 rounds of radiation. I have so much faith in her that if anyone ask me who i think is good i have to say her. If anyone reads this just know that she does know her stuff and you can believe that she is on top of the latest information. Thank you is the only thing i can say.

I never had surgery through her, but, by chance, my CT scan was sent to her from the hospital in Mt. Shasta. She called me at 8 am the following Saturday and scheduled a whole list of appointments for me at Alta Bates in Berkeley. Then, her staff followed up even though I was not her patient! If only every doctor could be this competent. Thanks to Kim and Lemar on her staff!

This is my second breast cancer and I am so grateful Dr. Consorti is on my medical team. She did an amazing job removing my first cancer in 2006 . Now we are dealing with a new cancer in the other breast. I know how hard she works and the level of her dedication, when you see her in the surgical preop, you know this is her true element and where she shines. I hear only the best about her through my own medical grapevine as she has a wonderful reputation among her peers. I also consider her a friend and trust her with my life. I highly recommend Dr Consorti to anyone looking for a board- certified, highly competent surgeon.

She recommended that I have surgery to repair a hernia that was so small I couldn't detect it. When I asked if the benefits justified the cost (including the dangers of surgery) she said that published studies justified her recommendation. I couldn't find any such studies. When I told her this, she promised to find the studies. She never did. After I wrote about this on my blog, she threatened me with legal action.
