Took my kid in for a yearly checkup, and like most places you first see an assistant who asks some questions and then finally the doctor who does a few checks and then you're done. A few weeks later got a bill from the doctor for almost $60, which was a surprise b/c yearly well visits are covered with no deductible or co-pay. Well turns out this doctors office slipped in several extra services without asking. One service was "Nutrition therapy", billed at $50, where the assistant asks a few questions about what your kid eats. Another service was "Obesity counseling", billed at $40. This surprised me b/c my kid is at exactly the medium weight target level for size, so what's up with obesity counseling for a kid who is at ideal weight. If they had asked if we wanted these services I would have declined, but they just perform them and bill for them and you only find out about it when you get their bill, which to me is just plain unethical.

I recommend Pediatric Care of Four Corners, they are great, really satisfied on how well they treat us. I've been taking my daughter here for a long time and their care of patients is amazing.

I brought my daughter as a new patient and was pleasantly surprised with how soon I was able to get an appointment. The wait time was a little long but well worth the wait as Dr. Elsayed took the time to address all my daughter's issues and made sure we walked out of there happy. Definitely recommend her.
