Dr. Ejaz Ahmed, MD

I am not sure how this establishment has 4 stars. This doctor should not be practicing. I came to this office with lab details from my doctor, which is out of state. They took my ID, insurance card, and information from my doctor (so they knew what I was there for), and then charged me for the $119 visit. The doctor then sent me elsewhere and said that because "it is a Saturday" he can't do any lab work for me. I asked him why we paid him if he wasn't going to actually render a service. He then wrote a prescription and said that it is required to have a FL prescription to receive medical services in Florida. We contacted another health care provider to confirm this, and we were told that this is not true - this was just his attempt at justifying why he charged me. When I went to the off site location he, for a lack of a better word, "referred" me to, they were closed. I called him to request a refund, and after a long conversation, which included him talking over me and demanding that… we let him finish speaking, he said I could come back and get half of my money back since it was my fault too, and he didn't tell me to come to him for medical services........He failed to give any reason as to why he lied about the prescription and repeatedly said that since I came there and he saw me, that I owed him. Dr. Ahmed is a fraud.

I can't believe I'm the only one that points out these horrible FAKE reviews. He is a terrible doctor. He turns over staff every week. He discriminates against religions other than his, and Medicaid patients. He will literally complain to the patient, saying he only gets paid $45 for their visit versus the fee of $180 that others pay. How he's still even in business/practice is amazing.

Last year I moved from Connecticut to Daytona. On a friend's recommendation I chose Dr. Ahmed my primary care doctor. Yesterday I went for my annual checkup and I am so pleased to find a caring and thorough doctor. Because I am retired and senior I asked him I often should I visit you, he told me only when you need me, also told me that just walk-in if you are not feeling good but call me first may be if it is minor I will call your pharmacy and save you a trip for a office visit, I NEVER HEARD A DOCTOR WOULD SAY THIS. I am very pleased.

No nonsense doctor. If you come in and get to the point and show that you are not looking for opiates, he will promptly attend to your needs and help with any issues that you are dealing with. It's a very fast paced clinic. Make sure that you write down what is ailing you and any questions that you may have. As it is also an urgent care clinic, many patients are seen daily. Nice to know that I wouldn't have to go to the ER for most issues and the doctor/patient history is already there if/when necessary.

Listen, this guy is terrible. He DOES discriminate against Medicaid/Medicare patients. He treats his staff like they are imbeciles, and in fact some of them are. It's the worst physician I have ever seen in my 50 years on this planet. He will degrade you, and then if you speak up and argue with him, he will just tell you to come back in a week so he can bill Medicaid/Medicare again. He doesn't listen or address the real issues. He puts a stethoscope on your three times, asks you what refills you need, and says you'll be fine, and to come back in a week or month. Asking for a referral is like pulling teeth with a pair of tweezers. It's the absolute worst. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. Read the Reviews!

This doctor is disrespectful to anyone who has Medicaid he told my boyfriend who is 100% disabled and in the wheelchair that people that are in wheelchairs are lazy and refused to give him his pain medication for his two broken feet

Went to office yesterday( Sunday) and the sign said they were open, but they were closed. Should have gone to ER at Halifax. They would have cared more. Got a girl who said she was a new PA. She was absolutely horrible! Did not get my list of medications, but logged into the computer that she did. The whole interview went like that. She obviously did not care about me at all, and made no effort to hide it. They kept interrupting her to view other patients. Ahmed is usually rude, but this girl was even worse. And he did not even give me the right prescription and I still don't have it. Would complain to someone if i knew who to contact. I do not ever want to go back there.

Today I went in to have a follow up as directed from the ER by a neurologists to discuss medication and headaches I have from a brain injury. First thing he asked me before discussing my problems was who is going to pay for this. I was shocked never had an issue with my military insurance ever. As I tried to discuss my headaches with him he interrupted and was extremely rude to me and told me to go back to the ER. this doctor is very unprofessional, rude and does not care.

I am very picky when it comes to doctors, and I found Dr. Ahmed courteous, intelligent but not pompous, thorough, and caring and accurate in his diagnosis. Furthermore my kids love him.
