Dr. Ekaterini Vasilios Tsiapali, MD

I was referred to Dr. Tsiapali by my doctor in regards to an abnormal mammogram and found a lump in my breast. I had a consultation done by Dr. Tsiabpali and she explained to me after my review that it would be best to get a biopsy done. She explained to me in detail of everything that would be done. The day of my procedure, she and her staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Within 15 minutes I was done. She took the time to speak with me and just made me feel very comfortable.

Women and Infants Hospital was great, the surgery was fine. After that Dr Tsiapali saw me for the mandatory 5 minute checkups, then when there was a complication she was not available, did not call. I only got to speak with nurses who were not knowledgeable about lymphedema and were not at all helpful. I will not go back to that clinic, it is too impersonal and not effective with post-surgical problems.

First I'd like to mention she is not a gynecologic oncologist, she is a breast oncologist. Ekaterina is as professional as they come. She is extremely caring and concerned about all her patience. She takes such pride in her work and it shows within her circle of colleagues as well as her patients.
