Dr. Elahe Meryl Shychuk, MD

We were seeing Dr. Shychuck for our son due to behavior issues. She was hesitant to give prescription which I most appreciated. She sent us to PCIT for 12 weeks, which did not work for our child. After an appointment meeting with her again to discuss the results and how it was not working for our son and it was just not a good fit at all, she then sent us to a behavioral therapist that ONLY DID PCIT. I was in the doctors office for about 12 minutes, I found that out, and we left. That visit incurred us a $500 + bill. We were cash payers so I had to pay out of pocket. Dr. Shychuck nor her office would take any responsibility or even call me back for months. I had to pay the bill due to it being threatened to be put into collections. Talk about a doctor that doesn't listen or take responsibility fora mistake that she made. Seems typical for Shands.
