Dr. Elaine Anne Barbieri, MD

Dr. Barbieri does not understand MCAS. (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) She said, I didn’t have it & was rude about it. I went to Denver & after 60 viles of blood & urine later, I was told to switch to a MCAS diet. I FINALLY started to get my health under control with the help of a Denver Doctor.

My asthma was out of control. Dr. Barbieri did a thorough history and exam along with necessary tests to determine my new course of treatment...it worked.

Allergy shots (at 3 months) produceded unbelievable results. Took no antihistamines this year - used to take 40 mg of claritin per day. 40 years of misery - still hard to believe the difference the treatment has made. Staff is friendly and very helpful - Dr. Barbieri listens and is very thorough.

I do not recommend the Allergy and Asthma Center of Montana. The receptionist is amazing and so helpful, however Nancy is incredibly arrogant and condescending. Dr. Barbieri hardly makes an appearance at all. I feel like I get pushed around because of my age and race. I will be getting a referral to another allergist to repeat testing to ensure I am getting the proper immunotherapy. I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money driving to Great Falls to see Dr. Barbieri but when you live in NE Montana your options are limited.

Rudest facility, nurse Nancy is a liar asked for records which I had to sign a release for stated they will fax them never faxed them called again today and she lied saying she faxed them on the 10th never did then oh they were actually mailed out on Monday.

This is the worst Dr office i have ever been to. The front staff is horrible the nurses are worse and rude. I reccomend no one go see this Dr. She is worried more about insurance and money than my care.

Never remembered what allergies I actually had or hadn't been tested for and refused to be wrong about anything.

I went in to see Dr. Barbieri on referral from my primary care doc for my worsening allergies. I had to stop taking my Zyrtec for two weeks prior to the visit, which I believe is standard, but it was utterly miserable. I was like a living allergic reaction. The reason that is relevant is that it was misery for nothing. She told me I 'wasn't allergic to anything.' Well, I wasn't allergic to anything she tested for . . . but she didn't test me for 'everything' so I can't see how that would be a logical conclusion. I also fail to understand how I would need allergy medication so severely if I'm not allergic to anything. I don't have anything wrong with my sinuses, which she scheduled a test for, and she essentially told me 'can't do anything for you'. So ten years later, still have to take allergy meds every day and they don't always work 100%. Thanks for nothing. Possibly the worst doctor I have ever been to.

I first saw Dr. Barbierie about 1 1/2 years ago as I was feeling very poorly and getting no where with improving my health. She examined me treated me and set me up with 2 other Dr.s As a result I found other health issues that I was unaware of and started treatment for those as well. Dr. B was and is very thorough, and covers all the bases. A very good Dr.
