Dr. Elaine S. Martinez
Dr. Elaine S. Martinez is a native of Puerto Rico and earned her doctor of dental medicine degree (DMD) with distinguished honors at the American-accredited University of Puerto Rico. To pursue her special affinity for children, she served a residency in pediatric dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. This advanced training included infants, oral and IV sedation, hospital dentistry, medically compromised children, and interceptive orthodontics. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (board-certified). She is also an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Clay County Dental Society.
Dr. Martinez entered private practice in Orange Park in 1994. In her free time, she enjoys cycling and running, and has even competed in triathlons. She's a longtime participant in the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure, the Multiple Sclerosis Society Cycle to Shore, and …the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training (TNT) program.
