Dr. Elaine Ann Mitchell, DO

Dr Mitchell was a pretty good psychiatrist - listened to what I wanted to do and factored that into treatment. While I was seeing her, my conditions got more manageable. My only complaints are due to billing - I switched insurance, new insurance wouldn't cover her, and I needed one more refill, and she wouldn't fill it without me going in for an out-of-pocket visit. As a result, I ended up going off my meds and it set me back like 6 months. But if your insurance is covered, I recommend her.

She was methodical and careful . I always felt safe, well listened to, and really cared for. She was so smart and even had a puppy in her office. The best.

Excellent, she had helped me through massive depressive episodes and supported me on medication through my while pregnancy. We always talked about risks, what would be best for me and over the last 4 years she has been the best doctor I've had.

Dr Mitchell is accurate with medication, discussion of issues and willingness to listen. Dry humor but very approachable.

I think she is very good - asks all the right questions. I think it's hard to find a good psychiatrist. I feel lucky to have found her.

The longest I've waited is 10 min and that happened once all other appointments on time every time.She has always been polite and professional with me.She listens well and askes questions.She is very concerened with what is going on with your mental health,perscribes meds cautiously,and makes sure you are safe at home with your meds.I have seen plenty of Doctors and I know a good one when I have one and DR Mitchell is very good.

She has helped my through crises and is non-judgemental. By far the best psychiatrist I have ever dealt with.

Dr. Mitchell is incredibly professional, but this is reflected in a warm, caring, and sincere demeanor. She never seems rushed or impatient, is always wanting more information so that she can provide the right course of treatment, and encourages follow up calls to let her know how you are doing. She is direct and honest, but leaves you feeling like she genuinely cares and wants to help. She has gone above and beyond to help, even when my insurance was no longer accepted through her office.
