Dr. Elan Roni Witkowski, MD

Although I am a Florida resident, I elected to have my surgery at Mass General in Boston. I was blessed to be assigned Dr. Elan Witkowski as my surgeon. When I met with Dr. Witkowski at the pre-surgical conference I was very impressed with his assessment of my condition based on his review of my medical records. Dr. Witkowski presented my options and answered all of my questions enabling me to make an informed decision to proceed with the surgery. He had a very relaxed, warm, friendly manner. His modest, yet confident, self-assured demeanor convinced me that I had selected the best possible general surgeon for my condition. Dr. Witkowski very graciously called me early evening the day before the surgery to let me know he was "ready to go" and all would be good. The post surgery follow-up appointment was very cordial and I was told to call anytime if I had any questions or concerns.

I came from Montana to see Dr. Witkowski after multiple doors kept slamming shut on me. This included 2 mayo clinics. Dr. Witkowski was amazing as a surgeon, a caregiver, his bedside manner is honoring. It was worth all the searching. Thank you God for leading the way.
