Elena Ostrovsky holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Private Practice, Food Science and Nutrition from Hunter College, NY, and completed her dietetic internship program at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, New York.She is an accredited member of the American Nutrition Academy as well as being Certified in Adult Weight Management.Together we will learn how to shift the focus from following a short-term Diet to learning how you can establish healthy lifelong eating habits. You will understand how to enjoy food and be the best you can possibly be!My philosophy is this: “Wellness is a Circle Connecting Mind, Body, and Spirit.” Therefore, healing is only achieved through the treatment of the body as a whole. The use of Body Image Healing, helps clients end the war with their bodies, and overcome physical and psychological health concerns; to find lasting recovery. I am witness to the difference nutrition makes in a client’s concentration, mood, and attitude. I have …learned that a “well-fed” brain is astoundingly different than a starved one. In my clients, I have seen hunger and satiety cues rediscovered after years of no connection, propelling the client toward recovery. To me each client is unique and I work closely with them to get to the root cause of their concerns, allowing them space to heal. My goal is to help clients fuel their bodies with joyful energy and a zest for life. I believe the science of Nutrition is always evolving, and I love how there aren’t always “right” answers.
