Dr. Elena Catherine Pappas, DO

I have been going to Dr.pappas since she started her practice. She’s been nothing but professional with me and always goes out of her way to help so anybody that post anything bad about her obviously are not very nice people because she has been on nothing but nice and listens to everything and she takes her time to explain things excellent doctor.

Dr. Pappas presents as an isolated, overworked, and stressed small business owner. She doesn’t listen when you, the patient, talk. Dr. Pappas interrupts and proceeds to rant. Furthermore, I’ve seen her yell at her office staff, comprised of 1 nurse and a secretary. I chose a group practice where the office is organized and the doctors are knowledgeable and personable.

Doctor was RUDE and totally unprofessional. I have been to this office sever times and on this occasion I was asked to fill out some additional paper work, witch was fine. I said to the receptionist that I filled out your paper work but I not comfortable with giving you my social security number. That's when the show started, The doctor came to the desk and said this is a private practice and if you refuse to give your social security number then I don't have to see you. Then she started to rant about this is the only way I can go after someone who doesn't pay there bill. Then she started going off about the way I was talking to her staff. All I said to the receptionist I was not comfortable with giving out mY Social Security Number because I have been a victim of identity theft. i HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS AT ANY DOCTORS.

Moved here several years ago from Monmouth County. I made an appointment, and was so pleased, excellent staff, explains clearly whatever question I have.

Dr. Pappas has treated me for many years. She got my diabetes under control, along with my high blood pressure and cholesterol. She and her staff are always professional and friendly. I plan on seeing her for many more years to come.

I have been a patient of Dr Pappas for 10 years now and am very happy with her. She has always been very professional, caring and correct in her diagnosis. Yes, there may come a time she suggest you see a specialist as many doctors do. Had she not suggested that to me after a blood test she took, my very serious cancer diagnosis may not have been found. I could never thank her enough! You will also be happy with very brief wait times; this office does not overbook. Usually seen within 10 minutes. I most definitely recommend her!

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Pappas for a few years and find her thorough and compassionate. I have recommended her to many friends and family members.

I Think Dr Pappas is wonderful never had a problem with her.

One of the finest primary care doctors I have ever had. Thorough in her examination and analysis of symptoms. She is the physician you want when truly ill. She orders tests, when warranted, and does extensive follow-up as needed. I have been her patient since she opened her office in Toms River. Excellent support staff; lab in office so no need to go elsewhere if blood work is needed. I like the positive approach of Dr. Pappas!

I found the office staff to be rude and combative. The office staff was very unprofessional and uncaring.
