Dr. Elgin Hobbs, MD

All the awful reviews that I read about him is very accurate. He is the worst doctor that I encountered at the Piedmont hospital in Augusta. I came right back to the same hospital in less than a week after he discharged me from the hospital ER in less than one hour. He is very rude. He is not compassionate. I will not recommend him to anyone.

Poorest excuse for a medical professional??

He was very serious and really didn’t ask no questions. I did not feel comfortable with this doctor. I really thought to be a doctor is a dream job but the way he acted like it’s the worst job ever. I hope I never have to run across him again.

Dr. Eligin Hobbs MD should actually be Dr. Eligin Hobbs Mad Dog I’ve never met a supposed to be doctor in my life that is very rude disrespectful no bed side manners doesn’t know what good work ethics is so very sad wouldn’t even recommend a dog to be seen by him he definitely needs to be re-evaluated for his job.

I recently was in the ER and Dr. Hobbs told me I had Uterine Cancer. He had never seen me before nor did he consult my OB-GYN. I feel he is very unprofessional giving out diagnosis with no proof. He says he believes in being honest with his patients but the truth is he loves scaring the mess out of them. He is unethical and really did not deserve to be rated. To be honest he did not deserve to be rated but should have his license revokes.

Terrible

He took forever and had a pompous and condescending bedside manner. He didn't communicate with us. He asked the same questions every time he came in, and when I told him I had already answered those questions multiple times he just kept going. He didn't listen to us. He didn't give us any information. My wife was in excruciating pain for 3 hours and the nurse said she had to wait for Dr. Hobbs to come by before they could give her pain medication. After 3 hours he walked in the room, took one look at her and told them to give her morphine...almost without asking any questions. When we told him that he wasn't communicating well and was condescending he told us we were wrong. He didn't engage with us personally at all. He never even asked for or called my wife by her name.

he's pompus..arrougant..and doesnst listen to his patients..he's in his own little world and should be allowed to be around the public in that nature
