Dr. Elham J Louis, DO

excellent diagnosis and treatment of my injury.

I cannot remember if I have rated Dr. Louis and all her staff before, but they are courteous and basically treat me as a part of their family. Dr. Louis or the two PAs, Debbie and Kaitlyn, will spend the time with you. If they are real busy, that means you might wait a bit in a patient room while they are with other patients. I appreciate this kind of waiting, since they always try to help you.

Dr. Louis treats me like I were an older member of her family. I know she loves her job, and she will spend time with you. If you need tests in her clinic, she will come back and forth to see you between other patient appointments. I love her like a little sister doctor.

Dr. Louis is one of the best doctors I've been to. She's very sharp, zeroes in on problems quickly, and will sit there and talk to you for extended periods of time about what's going on, if needed (I was diagnosed diabetic and she took 45+ minutes to talk to me about things, on just a regular appointment).Wait times are an issue -- They're an urgent care center, and she apparently spends a bit too long talking to patents sometimes (see above!), but she seems caring and competent and though she tries to work fast, she's never made me feel like she was trying to rush me out of the room even when the office was significantly backed up.

I am so happy this doc knows what she is doing! She is on-point, extremely cognizant of illnesses, and does her absolute best to prescribe medication to ones personal and financial needs.

Highly recommend, took time to diagnose me properly to get me the appropriate treatment. Thanks Dr. Louis

Okay so I normally see Dr Martin. Who if you are able to see her or the PA they are both FANTASTIC!! But I became ill and needed to come for a walk in appointment. This woman was the coolest doctor I've ever encountered. Made the ER and Urgent Care Drs. seem wonderful. The whole time I was telling her about my symptoms and full well knowing that my asthma got out of control during some recent fires she was typing things into her Blackberry and never once made eye contact with me. Afterwards she had the gall to chastise me about not taking better care of my asthma, okay but can I reallly control fires in the hills behind my house, should I have gone to a hotel in a county by the coast to avoid the smoke? I cancelled my follow up with her and waited an extra day to get the PA. Much better experience. Since it seems that Dr. Martin is never in the office I am going to change physicians.
