Dr. Avisar is currently an a ssociate professor of surgery in the DeWitt Daughtry Family Department of Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He also serves as the medical director of the Taylor Breast Health Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital and as co-leader of the breast site disease group at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
