My doctor and his staff are excellent. Most of your professional staff is excellent. My only problem was with medical assistance and especially the biggest complaint I had was the surgical assistance. The doctor had to ask her for an inhaler three times and she held up the entire operating team and never produce the item, finally the anesthesiologist had to retrieve it

This review is long overdue, but at the same time as my surgery was 10 months ago it is also a lot more meaningful. I was in a lot of pain caused by spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, and a large facet cyst. Dr Baron and his team were amazing. My pain disappeared and I was able to return to being very active again. I am so very grateful to Dr Baron and highly recommend him.

I had severe back and leg pain - I was not able to walk more that 20-30 feet before the severe pain started. My family doctor sent me to get an MRI. The results showed displacement of some vertebrae and my doctor urged me to see a spine doctor as soon as possible. The first doctor I saw In LA looked at the MRI and immediately said I need a lumbar fusion - six large screws to fuse the vertebrae. I went to the Mayo Clinic spine center in Phoenix and the doctor there also recommended fusion. I decided to have the procedure done close to home - at Cedars Sinai, and looked for a neurosurgeon. Based on the reviews I chose Dr. Baron and met with him shortly after my return from Phoenix. This was one of the most important and consequential choices I made in my life. I expected Dr. Baron to confirm the other surgeons recommendation. Dr. Baron took his time looking at the MRI, examined my back and legs and asked several questions. He then said that it may be more advised to try a much less… invasive micro decompression. Dr. Baron performed the surgery in mid May, and I went home the next day. And now, several weeks later, I am walking more than one mile with light discomfort, and notable improvement every day. My deepest thanks to Dr. Baron. His judgment, expertise and compassion are enabling me to return to a normal quality of life. I avoided undergoing a very major surgery, with lengthy recovery and a lot more risky.

I had lumbar spinal surgery at another hospital in the area and had a major infection. Doctor Baron cleaned out the infection and fused my spine. Since then I'm symptom-free

Performed my artificial disc as an outpatient. I returned to work a week later. Doing great!
