Dr. Eli Kirshner, MD

Dr. Kirshner and his staff have been such a source of support. Gave us an appointment on the same day we called after receiving the alarming labs from our PCP. Dr. Kirshner outlined the proposed course of treatment in a very compassionate and hopeful manner. Has been gracious with his time and attention as we had to navigate 4 hospitalizations not related to the cancer. Treatment and labs are moving in the positive direction he said they would. It is a comfort to know he is our medical quarterback.

Rude staff. Conceited, uncaring doctor. Stay away.

Very conceited to the point you'll find him obnoxious. He practically joked at my blood disorder and multiple pregnancy losses. Wanted to give me a prescription while pregnant without monitoring me and said to his receptionist when asked about a follow up visit, "no, I don't want to see her again" and then he began laughing. What kind of doctor is that? I've never witnessed such unprofessionalism in a doctor before. I was lucky to have found a different doctor who was compassionate and determined to ensure a safe pregnancy for both me and my babies.

I Don't think I would have been able to get through my battle with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer without Dr. Kirschner and his staff. They are caring, thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and proactive. Dr. Kirshner has my back.

AWFUL---should not have a medical license---a shame that Valley Hospital brought him on board as a staff oncologist

Dr Kirshner is everything I want in a doctor;knowledgable,easy to talk to,listens and addresses your concerns, and takes all the time you need.That doesn't happen often these days.His staff are nice also.Highly reccommended.

Never got the impression Dr Kirshner was committed to my well-being. On multiple occasions he did not call me with test/lab results. Unfortunately I saw two other oncologists and can't say they were much different. In comparative terms maybe he isn't bad. This is no compliment

Dr. Kirshner treated my wife for stage 3 ovarian cancer for nearly 10 years - we feel that she could not have received better care anywhere - skillful and compassionate are the two words that best describe this doctor and his excellent staff.
