I just had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Gikas within 2 weeks from my initial appointment. I don't have enough words to express how thankful, happy, and amazed I am with the result. I realize that I've never been in love with anything else more than I am now with my nose after this surgery. I can't stop starring at the mirror and tell myself how priceless I am. I highly recommend Dr. Gikas services if you want to have everything done on a professional level and timely matter. My nose is a piece of art and he is the one who created it. I underwent gynecomastia surgery with Dr Gikas. I have dealt with gynecomastia for years, and was always insecure about it. When I came to Dr Gikas, I had never undergone a surgical procedure, and was unsure of what to expect. Dr Gikas explained to me what operations he was going to perform, making sure that I fully understood before the surgery. The surgery went perfectly, and the day that I was able to take off my compression vest, the difference was unbelievable. I felt like a completely different person. As I spent the next few months adjusting, I found myself more confident in my own body image. I can not express the gratitude I have toward Dr Gikas for the level of work he put into my surgical procedure. The results were excellent, and my gynecomastia has disappeared. I would highly recommend him to anybody I know who wishes to undergo a cosmetic procedure.

I recently (six months ago) had a cosmetic surgery performed by Dr. Gikas and I was happy with the process and am I extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Gikas and his staff made sure that I understood what was involved before, during and after the procedure in order to get the results that I desired. Everything was fully explained and any questions that I had were answered with honesty. All the required prescriptions were issued well in advance of the surgery so that I didn't need to worry about filling them while recovering. Appointments were scheduled without too much difficulty and ran reasonably on-time and efficiently. All costs were disclosed up front and there were no surprises or later add-ons. As for the surgery itself, I can't say much about it since I was not awake but, based on the results (which are as expected), it was performed with competence, skill and professionalism. My only criticism is with the hospital - Swedish Covenant. Not with the actual care - the… operating room facilities and staff were great - but with the billing and administration. If you are only dealing with Dr. Gikas then this will not be an issue but I would suggest that any pre- or post-operative visits that require another physician be taken elsewhere.

Total failed surgery my nose look bad and I can't breath I'm going to file a lawsuit against this doctor for malpracticing

Let me first by saying that coming across Dr. Gikas was a blessing in disguise. I did not come to him initially for work but was introduced to him through another Doctor. You, see my story is a little different from some. In 2018, I found that I would need to have a double Breast mastectomy performed. As you can imagine, it wasn’t the best news and I was terrified and felt defeated. My Primary Womens Doctor, Dr. Drugas, was very patient and understanding, and informed me that I will be ok. And with the reconstruction process, she would introduce me to someone that she believed would be just as efficient as herself. That’s when I met, Dr. Elias Gikas. I had so many concerns and questions about what if’s and how’s but every time I mentioned this man’s name, everyone always replied the same way, “ You are in great hands.” And did he deliver on his name! It was not even the reconstruction part of it that wowed me the most, it was the warmth and the compassion that he and his staff had for… me. The constant communication, the availability, the flexibility, and his genuine approach to me as if I was someone he knew. I could never say enough about him and what he did for me, and sometimes in the medical field I feel like you can become lost as just another patient. He never made me feel that way. He and his receptionist are God’s blessings, and with 2 surgeries in the same year, I would have never gotten through what I did without them coaching me along. I felt supported and cared about and mostly confident that I would be alright in the end. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for me. He is 100% the real deal!!

Dr. Gikas performed a rhinoplasty for me. I had one of the most pronounced noses which included a deviated septum, bump, wide and long. I showed him what i wanted and he recommended what he thought would fit my face with an honest opinion. We came to an agreement, saw the results on the computer and he sculpted it exactly as we planned. He is not only a perfectionist but a doctor who has empathy and truly cares about his patients. He changed my life and over 8 of my friends lives. I highly recommend him as your go to plastic surgeon.

Dr. Gikas is an excellent plastic surgeon and a top doctor when it comes to rhinoplasty. He is not only an extremely talented doctor, but he is also a top notch artist along with a being one of the best people I know. I had visited tons of doctors int he chicago land area for 2 years and the minute I went to see Dr. Gikas I knew he was going to be the one to perform my rhinoplasty. I can't tell you how happy I'am and how much more confident I'm with my new nose that he gave me. It looks so natural and nobody can ever tell I had anything done. People will stop me and tell me how great I look and how much they love my nose. He is the best plastic surgeon around!! Love him

Dr. Gikas has been my doctor for the past 6 months. He was referred to me by Dr. Drugas. It is probably the best referral that I have ever gotten. Dr. Gikas and his receptionist Sherri are wonderful. They are very accommodating when scheduling my appointments around my schedule. They have been very supportive in everything that I am going through. He did phenomenal work during my surgeries and has monitored my recovery closely. I think that it is because of his work that I am recovering so much quicker than most patients. I would definitely refer him to everyone.

I had my rhinoplasty and septoplasty surgery two months ago with Dr. Gikas.He is a great surgeon and would highly recommend him to anyone. He explained everything well and answered all my questions prior and post surgery. I had several consultations with other surgeons before going to see Dr. Gikas and after leaving his office that first day, I knew that I would pick him as my surgeon. I trusted that he would do a good job and I wasn’t disappointed. He explained the procedure in detail and showed me what my nose would look like based on computer imaging. Although I’m still healing and swollen, I love the results.His assistant Sherry is super sweet and welcoming. She’s always smiling and in a good mood. They are a great team!
