Dr. Mavrofrides is an great provider . He is great with my elderly mom. he has great bedside manner and never propose any treatment not absolutely necessary which makes my mom happy. The staff , friendly and approachable

Rude, condescending, dismissive.

He is awesome. Takes time to explain the plan of treatment, tells it like it is with compassion, truly loves his work and is respected by those who work for and with him. He is a blessing and I hope he will take care of me forever. I had a macular pucker and he did surgery to try to correct my sight as best as he could. Just had the surgery on Mon., so I am still in the healing process, but know that I will be fine. I have a great doctor treating me. Now I have to follow his instructions. God Bless Dr. Mav! Extremely capable and very caring

I have been a patient of Dr Mavrofrides for almost a year and being a physician myself , I have the highest appreciation for his expertise and extraordinary surgical skills. He encouraged me to have surgery ASAP, when I was loosing my vision because of epiretinal membrane. When I met him for the first time, my corrected vision was 20/60. At present is 20/20.He is a very courteous and patient doctor and I think he is the best retina surgeon you can have.

Dr. Mavrofrides had the tools needed to properly diagnose my condition and explain it to me in terms I could clearly understand, putting me at ease with his knowledge and experience.

Dr. Mav has been treating my retina problem for over five years. In the absence of his expertise I would have been blind in one eye. He is simply the best. He keeps himself current on the latest treatments, listens to your problems, his highly trained assistants are very efficient in their testing and documentation, uses modern testing equipment and the office staff is courteous, dedicated, and are organized like a well oiled machine. There is no waiting time and over the five years or so that I have known him, there has never been any waiting time either for an appointment, to see the doc, or to get a prescription refilled. He deserves a five star rating on this four star scale.

Dr. Mav no doubt saved my eyesight when I had a detached retina on a Sunday (non-office day). He left a personal event for his daughter and traveled many miles to meet me and re-attach the retina. He always took as much time as I needed for follow-up visits and made sure it was healed before releasing me to my regular doctor. I would recommend him personally any day!
