No amount of awards and medals would honor Dr. Tzanides enough. You will be hard-pressed to find a doctor who is as smart, compassionate, hard-working, curious, and funny. He is a driven, data-loving Sherlock when it comes to getting to the bottom of your symptoms and a no-bulls**t Rough Rider when it comes to charging through the noise of flavor-of-the-month trends, internet-fueled speculations, health insurance bureaucracies, and pharmaceutical special interests. Dr. Tzanides is an extremely thorough, very caring, and compassionate Dr. He has an excellent bed side manner and he goes the extra mile for his patients. Follow up is excellent. I agree with the other reviewer that he is particularly sensitive toward the elderly. We need more doctors like this!

Nice guy, thorough, wants to work with you not just prescribe and run. The downside is it means more time is being spent per patient, which makes it easy for appointment times to slip. It's a trade-off. I personally prefer a doctor who will work with you than one that treats you like a number, so it's a trade-off I'm willing to make. Not everyone will feel that way. Try to schedule earlier in the day.

Does not hesitate to refer. Gets thorough history. Covers all drug interactions....Especially sensitive to geriatric patients
