Dr. Elidia C Fidel

Dr. Elidia C. Fidel, a children's dental specialist, is the primary Pediatric Dentist and owner/founder of Fidel Dental Group.  She is passionate about helping children and teenagers maintain beautiful and healthy smiles by establishing a positive attitude towards dentistry.  Dr. Fidel has been practicing Dentistry for 30 years.  She hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she was graduated from the Dental Faculty of Valenca and practiced as a general dentist for the National Health Service (INAMPS) as well as in her own practice in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro.  She came to the United States in 1990 when she married her husband and made her home in Washington, DC, becoming a citizen in 1998.  She completed a two-year postgraduate program in Pediatric Dentistry on Howard University in Washington, DC in 1997 and has been practicing dentistry since then.  In 1998 she opened a private practice in Washington, DC and a second practice in 2004 in Arlington, VA.
…Dr. Fidel has dedicated her Arlington practice to serving the needs of the  local community.  She maintains a bi-lingual clinical and administrative staff to serve her Hispanic patients.  She has created a "kid-friendly" office to introduce her patients to preventive dentistry while still at a young age.  She makes a special effort to ensure quality dental care is accessible to her patients.  Dr. Fidel sees patients as young as one-year old through their adolescent years.  Dr. Fidel is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and she is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
