Excellent all the way around care

The fair comment was based on the doctor's follow up. Poly's were removed and sent in for screening. I received a letter in the mail on a Saturday stating that one of polyps was pre-cancerous. The rest of the letter was very short and direct and left me with questions, while also ruining my weekend and putting me under a lot of stress, until I was able to personally speak with the doctor on the next business day. So, that's my grief with this visit. Anything that says pre-cancerous to me should perhaps be followed up with a telephone call, especially on a first time visitor's colonoscopy. I didn't know what pre-cancerous meant and the letter of explanation was very brief. Moving forward, I've learned a bit. But since this was my first, I needed more assurance that my condition was benign.

Awesome doctor and office staff. I felt very relaxed, especially since I didn't want to see a GI doctor in the first place. The doctor and his assistant made me feel like I was their priority. They treated me with such compassion. They listened, really listened to my concerns and issues. Dr. Chahla was very concerned about helping me and doing whatever steps that took. Because I felt so comfortable with him, I proceeded with a procedure that I had put off for ten years. I'm very glad I got it taken care of. I highly recommend him.
