Dr. Eliot Howard Chodosh, MD

Dr . Chodosh is one of the most compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable neurologists anywhere! He saved my life! I will be forever grateful to him for listening to what I had to say and being proactive to get my problem diagnosed accurately when 3 other drs were lost and did not know what else to do for me. I ended up with a large tumor on my spine that could have left me paralyzed. I thank god every day for Dr. Chodosh! He’s a gem and the best of the best!

Dr. Chodosh is the most attentive, thorough, and professional doctor I have dealt with. I felt like I had his full attention, he listened to me thoughtfully and then outlined a course of action to take. When ever I call and leave a message for him I always hear back from him within a few hours. I can't remember I received this type of service from any medical professional. I can't recommend Dr. Chodosh enough.

I've a patient of Dr. Chodosh's for over 15 years, and in that time I have moved twice, but I won't look for another neurologist closer to my home. I take the time to travel to his office because that is how much I trust him. He takes his time to listen and help me, and always returns my calls or answers questions promptly.

Dr. Chodosh is excellent. We went to him when my mother was having issues with her memory. He was thorough, compassionate and caring. Very respectful of her and her situation. I highly recommend him and cannot say enough good things about him.

This review is for Dr Mascellinos covering physician on the weekends. We've had the unfortunate need to interact with Dr. Eliot Chodosh, covering neurologist for Dr. Anne Marie mascellino on the weekends. The first time we spoke, my mother had a seizure at her Assisted Living as she suffers from Alzheimers Disease. We asked Dr. Chodosh to put a hold on her antipsychotic meds until Monday when we had an appointment with Dr. Mascellino. Instead of being symphathetic to our situation, he was curt and abrupt with no only us but also the nurse staff at the AL. He actually yelled at the nurse over the phone when he lost his patience with needing to fax over the order to hold the medication as the policy is they can't take verbal orders. To make a long story short, we had to speak to a dr. this weekend because my mom was having side effects to the new medication she is on and is heavily leaning. Dr. Chodosh again dismissed us by phone and would not speak to us and said there was nothing he… could do. He asked this time to have the nurse call his answering service and gave us the run around.Dr. Chodosh represents all that is unkind about the medical profession. He has no patient manners nor the drive to be compassionate. I would not recommend him for the care of your loved one suffering from Alzheimers Disease when the disease is uncertain and you need to have patience in dealing with their care.

I have been Dr. Chodosh's patient for over 10 years. Even though I now live out of state, I still keep him involved in my medical treatments and will make the 4 hour trip back to see him when needed. He is awesome and wish I could bring him to where I live now!
