Dr. Eliot Jay Danziger, MD

Awful. If I could give zero stars, I would. First, Dr. Eliot Danziger is no longer affiliated with Summit Health at 2870 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, New York. In June 2025, I was offered an experimental treatment by Dr. Danziger to help clear my sinuses. At the time, I was--and still am--dealing with congestion and severe ear pain. Dr. Danziger told me he would check with my insurance to make sure the treatment was covered and ultimately assured me that it was. I also spoke with a staff member at the office and contacted my insurance company before deciding to move forward. The treatment cost $3,000. The office asked me to sign a document acknowledging that I would be responsible for the bill if insurance did not cover it. When I questioned this, I was again assured that the treatment was covered and that the document was simply a formality. Well, guess what? More than a year later, I am still being billed every month. My insurance company is now telling me the treatment was… not covered, and the office has done virtually nothing to resolve the situation. It took months for the office to even submit the necessary paperwork to my insurance company. I even contacted Dr. Danziger directly and received no response. Now, you can't even reach the office directly. There is only an answering service, and my calls are not being returned. My advice is simple: Don't go there. I relied on the assurances I was given by the doctor and his staff before agreeing to a $3,000 treatment, and more than a year later, I am still dealing with the financial consequences. Someone at Summit Health needs to contact me directly and resolve this matter immediately. I have been more than patient, and this situation should never have gone on for more than a year. Shame on them!

The whole firm is spiteful and cares nothing about health of others

Poor doctor... he is busy in earning money i guess... not having time to spend with patient to ask enough questions & listens to them.My visit not longed for more than 2 mins and treated as if someone admitted in government hospitals.Never go to this doc again. Not worth the money spent.
