great communicator, knowledgeable and caring

Very poor service. No follow-up or call back when negative test results were received and multiple requests made. Requested to see another doctor at the practice and was told they are not seeing new patients. Office Manager never returned message after getting billed in error for blood work.

When I moved into the area I got sick and Dr. Mandel was the only physician in the area who would see me as a new patient. That was 11 years ago and it was the best move I ever made. She's very personable, spends a good amount of time with you, and answers every question to your satisfaction. You can tell you're not just a number. I would recommend Dr. Mandel to anyone in need of a good general practitioner/internist.

During a routine visit Dr. Mandel diagnosed a potential life threatening heart problem. A heart attack was prevented and led to bypass surgery. Absolutely saved my life!

Dr. Mandel is truly one of the best doctors around. She takes the time to help you and actually follows up to be sure you are doing well. Her staff is courteous and patient.She is hard to get an appointment with and that is only due to the excellent care she provides.

I was referred to Dr. Mandel by a friend and i can't thank him enough. After years of being ignored (and blown-off) by my previous doctor, Dr. Mandel was able to figure out my problem after my first visit and some lab tests. She has a great personality (not stuffy like some docs) and you can tell she cares. Good luck trying to get an appointment with her though - people know her reputation and everyone wants to see her. Really nice office too.

Dr. Mandel is simply the most knowledgeable and caring physician I have ever encountered (and I have been to many). She takes as much time as needed to identify the problem(s) and explains how she is going to address the issues. She is excellent at diagnosing problems (even rare ones) and the office and staff are incomparable. She is very popular and it can take a while to get an appointment to see her if you're not already a patient. I have many friends and family members that I have referred to her and sometimes they see other doctors At BuxMont Medical and they have been extremely pleased as well.
