Dr. Elisa Anne Ostafin, MD

Dr. Ostafin has been my Primary health physician for more than 30 years. As I am in good health so far, I have been seeing her only once a year for my annual checkup. Overall, I must be satisfied or I would have changed her as my PHP. The annual checkup appointment has to be made a full year in advance, which is LUDICROUS, because most of us who have a full time and demanding job, have no idea if they will be available at that specific day and time, one full year in advance! Once I had to miss the appt and they only offered one with her Nurse instead, who was concientious, but erroneously thought I had a problem in my lungs, and after I took the x 5rays it was clear there was absolutely no problem. Also, due to $ pressure from the insurance companies, Dr. Ostafin, when I was recommended to have a spinal MRI by a physician overseas, after I was hit in an auto accident, she refused to authorize the procedure, but just examined me herself quickly and concluded it did not merit… further exams. Overall I am satisfied and will continue with her. I am not satisfied with the Health Care Outfit she belongs to, nor with the Insurance.

A good, caring doctor. She keeps a good eye on my problems in my physicals, and remembers my family and life situation. The only problem is that, as head of the clinic, she's very busy. When I have something urgent, I almost always have to see somebody else.
