Dr. McLemore saved my life, or at least saved me from having life-changing surgery. I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. After getting three opinions, all three surgeons agreed; my only option was to have permanent colostomy surgery (an external bag on your body that gathers your stool). After weeks of reading journal articles in search of an alternative, we came across the work of a doctor who was finding that, for some patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer, rigorous monitoring often led to NOT having to have permanent colostomy surgery. We knew everyone did not qualify, but for the first time, there was hope. Dr. McLemore was that researcher/surgeon. I met with her, hoping that I may be able to avoid this life-changing surgery. My husband had prepared a plethora of questions for her for our visit. Dr. McLemore was direct yet caring and answered every question without hesitation. I knew I didn’t need a best-friend doctor; I needed a highly competent, cutting-edge doctor who… would shepherd me through the most dramatic part of my life. During a year of radiation and chemotherapy and five years of “rigorous” follow-up, she cared for me, never sugar-coating what I was going through and always adhering to the rigor of the protocol. Some may see her rigor as unemotional, but for me, it was life-saving care and there is no other doctor I would want if I had to do this again. I am five years cancer-free, and the prognosis is good. Thank you, Dr. McLemore! I needed a super doctor, and that is what I got. The extra caring and kindness were a wonderful bonus as well.

Dr Mclemore is not only a Great physician but also a great person. She is one of the only ones that takes time to explain the symptoms and reasons for those symptoms and the simplest solutions. I have appreciated her professional manners and pleasant attitude. Her assistants also are very helpful and pleasant.. thank you all.????

An excellent surgeon and clinician. Empathic and caring. She operated on me on 7/1 and I've had a wonderful result.

Dr. McLemore recently completed a successful colon resection surgery on me to remove a cancerous tumor discovered during a routine colonoscopy. The surgery was smooth and uneventful, despite the fact that I had several factors that put me at higher risk for potential surgical complications. Other surgeons had been too scared to operate on me due to potential risk factors, but Dr. McLemore was not deterred. The entire experience was far better than I ever expected possible - with very minimal scarring or pain. My family and I were thrilled with the level of care we received. In addition, Dr. McLemore’s bedside manner is warm, calm, forthright and reassuring. I always feel comfortable and happy when I see her. Her team is likewise smart and very responsive - emails, for example, are answered quickly and thoughtfully. This is a top-notch clinician on all levels.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Best bedside manner and best surgeon!

The worst experience in my life, she doesn't listen, not answering question she just keep repeating herself as a robot. She does not built trust with patient , as of it the surgery was canceled 40 min before it supposed to start. I never met more stubborn provider ever, and after googling her reviews im very happy that now i will have another surgeon.

Dr. McLemore & her team is treating my husband for Colorectal CA for about 5 years & is now CA free. Clearly, Dr. McLemore is an expert in her field. She is soft- spoken, kind & compassionate. I appreciate that she involves the patient & family in her treatment approach. Without doubt, Dr. McLemore is an excellent physician!
