Dr. Elisabeth Lennie Mehta, MD

She has always, listened to any concerns, provided reassuring feedback, and been wonderful with my son.

I’m really surprised by some of the negative reviews... we’ve been to all the doctors at this practice and specifically choose her because she is so patient with our daughter. She always remembers her history, doesn’t try to put her in a box and assesses from the standpoint of our child’s specific needs. Another doctor at the practice was very dismissive with us and I almost wonder if people mixed them up in their reviews? Either way, all I can say is that we have had nothing but positive experiences and our family has been in the office a LOT. Colic, silent reflux, a million daycare illnesses and ear infections, RSV.... our kid is a frequent flyer and we will only see Dr Mehta when she’s available.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Dr Mehta. We have been going to this office since 2004. That's a long time!! The staff is awesome and every doctor here is great, kind, and compassionate. We have seen them all....many many times.....and we have never ever had a bad experience or felt dismissed by Dr Mehta.

Jury’s still out on her clinical expertise. But I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt in this area. Was concise in her exam in inpatient area. Our interaction with her was limited. Unfortunately our more extensive outpatient appointment was disappointing. No compassion for us first time parents. Provided no reassurance. Simply ordered labs and sent us on our way. Made her clinical observation seem like an urgent medical issue. Again, no reassurance. That was disappointing

Been going to this practice for 14 yrs and have seen all the doctors. We have never had a bad doctor. I have teens now and this past couple of years we have seen Dr Mehta a lot. She has always been compassionate and listened. My kids feel comfortable with her. When my 16 yr old Dr was having a physical, I actually requested her because I thought her bedside has been great. I actually cannot believe these other reviews. Look, it's your job to advocate for your kids. Doctors aren't mind readers or magicians. Write stuff down. Observe your sick kid. If you can't explain to a doctor what is going on properly, that's your problem.

Dr. Mehta has become our primary pediatrician since our other doctor retired. She is kind, caring and always takes the time to listen. She has gotten to know my family and kids very well. I feel very confident in her skills as a pediatrician. I have not had the negative experience that others have had. She is one our favorite doctors in the practice.

Came with my sick toddler and tried to explain my daughter's sypmtoms and Dr. Mehta was very annoyed and dismissive. My mother was with me and even observed it telling me after the visit that the doctor was annoyed by me. Dr. Mehta appears grumpy and lacks people skills. Not what I would want for a child's pediatrician. My daughter had an ear infection that I didn't even know she had. I thought she had allergies. Well, glad I didn't pick this doctor for my daughter. She has an arrogance and not compassionate to parent and child. There is never any follow-up after visits from this office either. You have to call in to see day of if there is an opening to come in and then you have a small window when to arrive.

Dr. Mehta is awful. Blows off your concerns and condescending. I'm awaiting a call from the manager but from what I read in the previous review I don't expect to get anything resolved. I will not go back there.

The few times I have had to see this doctor, she has been overly judgmental and condescending. Not what a parent needs when they are worried about their sick child. I recommend parents not go to Dr. Mehta with their children.

Stay away from this office. The doctor never introduced herself. My daughter went there for a problem and was referred to a specialist with a long wait to get into the office. Dr. Mehta did not offer any treatment in the mean time. I called and talked to the office manager who was not at all helpful. When I brought my other children in for check-ups none of the staff tell you who they are or what their title is. I had no idea if they are medical assistants or nurses. I was a pediatric nurse for over ten years and know how an excellent practice functions and this most certainly is far from it.
