Dr. Elisabeth Anne Stoffel, MD

I have read other ppl's reviews about Mrs. Stoffel. I disagree with them negatives. Making appointments with a office and being seen by a Doctor are two different things to me. The professionalism and her ear for my concerns are what counts to me. If she as a Doctor tells me what my real problems are then that is what I want and Mrs. Stoffel has exactly done that. She has done more thorough checks on me than many other doctors before her.

Minimal wait time. Very professional with excellent people skills.

I have been going to Dr. Stoffel for several years. I have finally had enough and will be switching doctors. I did feel she was knowledgeable and trusted that but there are just too many others things with which I don't agree. My last two checkups it was well over anhour before I was seen and I was in the office over two hours. When I did finally see her she was rushed because she was overbooked and I felt she didn't have time and was indifferent to my questions and concerns. Most important as was said in another review three times I was told I needed to come in for an appointment that was not necessary. Seemed to just be to cost me and my insurance more money. Two of the times I challenged this and was proven right. The third time nurse told me two things tht she said were in my chart that were completely not true and had never been told to me. She did this to validate need for extra appointment so she said insurance would cover it. I refused and let them know I would not be back.

Dr. Stoffel is the best doctor I ever had! She wants me to get better and believes I can!

I left this practise because after each visit there was a automatic return appointment made. If you want to manage your own health care like an adult, do not stay at this practise, if you want to have them do it for you, make all your decisions and use your insurance card like a credit card, than stay with this practise. I was not pleased with being bugged or bothered about coming back over and over, when it was my choice to see a Doctor for advise in the first place.

Dr. Stofell was very professional and thorough. The office was not crowded and my wait time was nothing. She seemed empathtic and knowledgeable. Blood Work: The lab "fill in" had difficulty drawing my blood and after the second day return visit for blood, she still could not draw. At this point she told me she was a "fill in" and did not do this normally. If I had known this, I would have not allowed her to experiment on me. I will always ask to be sure the trained lab person draws my blood for testing, since someone who knows what they are doing really needs to be the one sticking me.
