Dr. Elise Belilos, MD

I have been cared for by Dr. Belilos for more than six years for R.A. She is a highly competent, thorough and personable physician, allowing adequate time for questions on every visit. She has personally phoned me after business hours to provide test results and answer questions. Her staff is responsive and helpful at all times.

Dr. Belilous has been my Rhumatologist for over 10 yrs. She picked up on the fact that there was a possibility that I had a rare form of Cancer that turned out to be correct. She put me in touch with a wonderful Oncologist that has been my doctor for over 8 years and the entire office is wonderful. Very friendly and efficent. While in the hospital several times I was visited not only by her but others in the practice and they all walked into my room knowing everything they needed to. No having to rehash old information, they were on it. Dr. Carson was such a gentle soul. He had students with him, came into the room alone first so as to not put me on the spot and ask in front of them, wanting to know if I was ok with having them come in and observe him, as he put it in action with a sweet cute laugh. I had never met him before but felt an immediate connection with him and quite comfortable. If for some reason I am somehow no longer a patient of Dr. Belilos I would seek him out as an… immediate replacement. I am super happy with this practic and Dr. Belilos in particular. She takes her time and makes sure to cover all the bases. I am a complicated case which takes up a bit more time then I am sure the adverage patient and she gives me her undivided attention. She has tried numerous test and therapies to help give me relief from several different maylays that I suffer from and is always dilligent in keeping in touch with not only my oncologist but also my neurologist and primary care physician. I can not sing her praises enough.

Tough to get first appointment. Better afterwards. Busy office. They use fellows (since affiliated with teaching hospital), but mine was exceptional. Dr. Belilos came in after being briefed by fellow (she asked me pertinent questions based on the fellow's briefing). Was organized and direct, but pleasant to deal with. Gave me all the time I needed to get questions answered. She was knowledgeable and wanted to make sure I fully understood the diagnosis and treatment options. She followed up herself and returned calls herself. Overall, I am impressed with this doctor and highly recommend her. You can feel confident in her approach and knowledge.

This is the first time I ever rated a doctor online. Dr. Belilos is such an exceptionally good doctor! It's kinda hard to get the first appointment with her, but once you got in, the future ones are not bad at all! She's very shrewd, considerate, and caring. She takes time and asks lots of questions! And she carefully review your test results with you. The staff is very friendly too!
