Dr. Elise Leaf Leland, MD

My wife and I have been going here for 6 or 7 years. We moved to North of Kelso, Wa. but I refuse to transfer to a local doctor. I'd rather travel 2 hours then taking the chance losing a group of staff like she has! She has helped me through two life threatening illnesses, not to mention 7 other major issues I've had over the past 6 years. Without her and her staff, I'd be dead by now, I know that as a fact. The doctor is great, but beyond that she has the support staff that follows up on all the things that need to be done, without those people, she could not have done it. I'll start with Rebecca (always being there in times of need) Carmen who keep the office flowing and Kristen coordinating the office. Doctor Leland just got lucky having these people support her, you can't ask or find a better doctors office and staff anywhere! You always left there knowing, and feeling you had the best of care by people who really care! Thank you All??

I have never had a more professional, caring, and supportive health care provider. She listens to everything I say and gives superior care. I don't know what I'd do without her.

I work in healthcare and my whole family has been going to Dr. Leland for the past few years, and we've always had positive interactions. She has been very accommodating to last minute appointment requests, and her staff have always been nice, even when dealing with our kids.

I went to Dr. Leland for many years and I believed we had a great relationship. Then, one day, on a routine appt. and out of nowhere, she blew up at me, made wild accusations, proving she never really knew me at all and all but threw me out like yesterday's garbage. If you want good, supportive and kind care, DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. I'm so hurt I've been weeping, just for the treachery of her actions and in the delivery of her words. Very, very hurtful. (First, do no harm?) She's left me stranded with no Doctor. I have no idea where to go or what to do now. I know she couldn't care less about me and has actually caused me some pretty great harm in the process. I think Doctors who treat their loyal patients this way should be reprimanded in the least. Hold on to your dignity and go see someone else. It would just be a matter of time before she turned on you, too.

Get out of the electronics and actually pay attention to your patients. Return phone calls, follow up on your recommendations, write the prescriptions you say you will. Why is it up to the patient to make sure you do what you say you will in the appointment?

Thorough, actively listens, easy to understand, humorous, kind, thoughtful.

Dr. Leland is an exceptional doctor who takes the time to get to know her patients. She takes thorough notes and treats the whole patient, by remembering previous problems, prescriptions, what worked well, what didn't, etc. My husband and I wanted a doctor that keep ahead of medical conditions and problems as we aged. She listens and her caring attitude is genuine. We would highly recommend her to new patients.

Dr. Leland and the support staff members at Orchards Family Medicine are wonderful! I am always impressed with how respectfully and compassionately I am treated.The wait time is minimal; with tea and magazines in the waiting room, it makes for a relaxing and inviting experience. Dr. Leland is extremely thorough, knowledgable, caring, and down to earth. She takes time to listen to my concerns, adequately assess the situation, and devise a treatment plan that works! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Leland and her practice.

Excellent doctor: really listens and is available to help at the visit and with follow ups. Not your run of the mill arrogant cold doctor: she is caring. Recommend.
