In my opinion Dr. Rasmussen is awful, awful, and awful and deserves the title of Ms. Cruela. On September 13th, 2022, I was in tears during my entire appointment with her due to excruciating pain. I explained to her that I could not take pain killers and anti-inflammatory pills because of a problem I have due to taking anti-inflammatory pills. As I do not want to take opioids for pain relief, I asked her to send me to an orthopedist so that we could find the source of the pain. Then, I would not have to take pain medication and/or anti-inflammatory pills. After I explained to her in details about where it hurts and how it hurts, she responded: “Maybe we need find the right medication for you.” In my opinion, her answer was a despicable act of carelessness of her part because she did not care that I cannot take pain medication. The worst is that she sends me to an orthopedist that I had to wait for FIVE WEEKS to see him. When I finally had the appointment, and when I started… telling the orthopedist my problems, he told me: “I am the wrong doctor for your problems.” Then, this orthopedist referred me to his colleague. Unfortunately, I had to wait another TEN WEEKS to see the right orthopedist. As a conclusion, during the FOUR months I had to wait to see the right doctors due to her carelessness, my pain increased and with that I started overcompensating other parts of the body. Furthermore, I started having pain in other parts of the body. I do not know how she got her degree and medical license as she lacks so much of knowledge to have sent me to the wrong doctor. In addition, in my opinion, her attitude was so cruel and insulting as she did not care about finding the source of the pain.
