Dr. Elise A Reed, DO

A woman in her profession should be well aware of the political polarization in this country. In my first and only visit, the first thing I saw (in her very tiny, disorganized ,stuffy, perfumed office) was a Donald Trump hat. Seeing that so prominently on display impressed me of her total apparent lack of concern for the political preferences of her patients! Out of a one hour appointment time, she asked about ten mundane questions such as height, weight, education, place of birth, etc and took 45 minutes of my time laboriously tapping on her computer to get those simple answers recorded! When asked why she didn't have an assistant quickly type it, she said it was very confidential and her secretary couldn't look at it , tho she admitted it was kept in an open office filing cabinet! Finally, with about 12 minutes on the appointment clock she asked "Have you ever had any traumatic events in your life"? What ever events have occurred in my life, I certainly would not choose to… discuss them with someone with her disdain and total lack of professionalism. I took a deep breath, opened the door and walked out!! Her religious and prejudicial views are quite apparent! I definitely would not recommend her to anyone!

Mrs. Elise A. REED, D.O. Is a M.D. Not only a Psycho-Therapist. She Is An Exceptional Phenomenal Doctor, In Independent Practice. I personally, with Her constant care, personal sessions, for over 20 years. She Is Caring, Very Professional, and Empathetic. Her Staff Is Also Very supportive. Her Office Is Completely Digital. They coordinate well with pharmacies. Staff After-care Is Subperb, and Reliable. I'm a Senior Patient.

She doesn't help a person in crisis.She has her own agenda.

In a world that seems a good doctor is hard to find, I was so glad to find Dr. Elise Reed. She is kind, helpful, logical, and when life gets rough, that is what you need.

Dr Reed is an acquired taste. She's eccentric and not terribly organized, spends WAY too much time on her PC during the appointment and is ALWAYS late 15 minutes was the shortest wait. However, due to her experience she was able to prescribe something I'd been on before, but lessened the dosage and had me take several smaller dosages throughout the day and this simple yet brilliant action has made my life so much fuller, richer and meaningful. She's good if you can accept some eccentricities.

Terrible experience. She is judgmental, not very nice, and extremely stuffy. She acts like she is doing you a favor. Will never go back and would not recommend to anyone.

Knew her stuff, always wanted to ease me with MEDICATION, my situation is different...Then she yelled at me over the phone, that cured me from not seeing her anymore..Always brings Jesus into the conversation,she ought to start believing the book, unprofessional and can she scream..

She seemed beyond competent at the outset of my visits. After approx. 4 yrs of believing her and trusting her I found she is not as qualified as I believed. She continued prescribing medications while only seeing me once every three months and after coming to her with confusion about a family member's "coming out" she allowed her personal views to be known. Rather than helping to decipher my feelings she threw me into emotional turmoil by telling me that homosexuality is against God's laws and gave me a bible. Hardly the mark of a true professional. I was left in a mentally and emotionally confused state ending in two hospitalizations. A true professional would not have dumped her own personal beliefs on a patient, especially a patient suffering from bipolar disorder. Life is confusing enough for such a patient. Having a doctor throw her religious beliefs into the mix is beyond detrimental. I would suggest when interviewing her as a potential doctor you ask specifically what her… beliefs are and decide based on her answers whether her personal beliefs are in sync with your own.

DR. Reed is concise and to the point. She is very understanding and is able to solve underlying issues.

She is the best Dr I have ever had. She listens and diagnoses to the best of her ability. She is highly intelligent as well as very caring. I recommend her to anyone who is seeking psychiatric or psychological help!!!
