Dr. Eliza Sukhee Ahn, MD

Horrible experience. Told my mom to shut up. Have her medication to thin her blood without letting her know. We went to the pharmacy and that is how we found out. We called her office and they told us it was medication to improve her blood flow. That is not true. The medicine is Plavix and it's a blood thinner. To make matters worse, my mom is scheduled by her to have a head CT to check for a bleed. Why in the world would she put her on a blood thinner if she believes my mom has the possibility of having an intracranial bleed. Needless to say we are switching doctors. She is terrible. Incredible to believe she is a doctor. I guess this group must be not screen their employees very well.

Caring doctor who explains everything we need to know. She was terrific to my mom and us when she was hospitalized recently. She took loving care of our dad when he was alive.

She's great. Timely, knowledgeable with great bedside manner. Will stay with her for as long as possible.

Dr. Ahn is extremely intelligent and accurate in her diagnoses. She listens to her patients' concerns and explains things clearly.

I went to Dr. Ahn twice for two different reasons. The first visit I was asked to get there early so I could fill out paperwork which I did - 15 minutes. ONE HOUR after the appointment start time I finally saw the doctor. She seemed very unsure about how to treat my symptoms and never really was sure what it was or at least didn't offer any explanation as to what it was. For my next ailment I actually went to the Urgent Care near my home which is cleaner and more professional than Dr. Ahn's offices and I got amazing treatment - however I was supposed to "follow up" with my primary doctor - so I did. My appointment was made easily and I made a morning appointment thinking she couldn't possibly make me wait an hour...well I was wrong. A HALF HOUR after my appointment start time I still hadn't been seen and when I asked the receptionist when I'd be seen she said "Oh, she just got here I'll check with the gals in the back and find out when you're going to be taken back". Just got… there? That thoroughly irked me to say the least. All in all - it was a full 50 minutes until I actually sat and talked with Dr. Ahn and to my not so much surprise - she didn't explain anything to me about what was going on - she prescribed me a different antibiotic than the one Urgent Care had (which had started really clearing up my issue) and as of now - the issue has never gone away completely. I told Dr. Ahn I would never be her patient again - and I won't - I've already submitted my request for a new Primary Care Physician - even though this means I have to leave my OBGYN who is in her "group" and I adore him! But I can't have a crappy doctor as a primary care doctor....
