My wife and I had been long term patients of this office. It was at one time a great physicians office..especially when Donna and Louis were there. Then Louis sudenly died according to multiple hospital staff and even other doctors, they have very suspicious thoughts of why Louis died at such a very young age. Shortly after that sad event within months the Federal drug administration was in this office, causing the office to sink deeper into chaos. We have received the wrong medication several times or there would be other multiple mistakes made multiple times. We even witnessed a young lady inquiring to one of the office staff as to why this office was not keeping their patient records up to date. The response she received from the staff member is that they are JUST TOO BUSY to keep their recordkeeping up to date. This is absolutely the worst and may we say DANGEROUS for any and all patients especially for a pain management office. To all patients still there by all means check your… medication scripts before you leave because it could end up saving your life. When we were there this week we had a very similar issue happen. This is the final straw for my family as far as being patients at Great Lakes Pain. I would also like to add how very rude it is to speak ot yell at one another in your countries dialect as the patients can tell you are talking about them.

This great doctor is not being supported by the office staff, namely Elaina, who claims they are "way too busy" to keep accurate records. Last week, my wife & I heard her tell that to a young lady who was questioning why her file is not being kept up to date. This is so very important, esp. for this type of office. Then when Elaina wants to talk about the patient in front of them but does not want said patient to know what she is saying, she rudely starts speaking Romanian. This is AMERICA Alaina! Speak English, esp. when the patient is right in front of you. No wonder there are issues out there; you can have a great, caring doctor, which Dr. D. is, but if there is not the office support to document records, it turns into a royal mess. :(

Dr. D. has helped me so very much, I do not know what I would have done without her. She will listen to your symptoms, then take the appropriate steps. She also gives great shots that do NOT hurt! It appears she is going to be retiring very soon, this is going to be a massive loss to all of us that has enjoyed being her patient for several years. You will be sincerely missed Dr. D. I hope you do not close up soon, it takes time to try to even come close to replacing you. God Bless you for all you have done for me, and for all the other grateful patients that have been patients for even longer than I have. I feel like I am losing a family member.

Dr D is extremely compassionate and listens to your concerns. She treats you as a human being. I have never met a doctor that is as thorough as she is. She listens, takes notes and works with you for the best course of treatment. She aims to get to the bottom of your issue versus just putting you on medication and shoving you out the door as I have experienced with other doctors. Her staff is amazing. Some may mistake them as being rude but in my opinion, they are just beyond super busy.

Dr. D is the best Dr. in Lake County! I love her and her staff...excellent in all areas!

Dr. D has always been courteous and truly cares about her patients well being. Many of her patients suffer from chronic and debilitating pain. The smallest gestures can make a big difference in a person's life who lives with so much frustration . Her genuine demeanor has at least made me feel that I'm not alone in the struggles I deal with daily. My heartfelt thanks goes out to her and her staff for making me feel like more than just a number. There should be more like her in her profession.
