She subsequently completed advanced postdoctoral training in women’s behavioral health at Zucker Hillside Hospital, Northwell Health, and a specialized postdoctoral fellowship in reproductive mental health at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian.She provides mental health care across the reproductive lifespan, including menstrual-related mental health concerns, fertility-related challenges, pregnancy, the postpartum period, birth trauma, reproductive loss, perimenopause and the menopausal transition. Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis (CBT-P), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and psychodynamic psychotherapy, with an emphasis on relational and interpersonal frameworks. She works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, partnering closely with psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, nursing and other medical providers to support integrated, patient-centered care. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD and complex trauma, with a focus on restoring a sense of safety, agency and autonomy in relationships.Dr. Wierzbinska is actively involved in teaching and clinical supervision and regularly presents within academic medical centers and at national conferences. She previously served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Psychiatric Research and has completed specialized training at the Weill Cornell Center for Human Rights, where she conducts psychological evaluations in support of asylum applications. She is fluent in English and Polish.
