Dr. Scifers earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences at Mary Baldwin University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Western Carolina University. She completed the Orthopedic Residency in Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s University Health Network and holds dual board certifications as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. At St. Luke’s, Dr. Scifers serves as Director of Clinical Advancement for Foot and Ankle, overseeing rehabilitation initiatives and advancing clinical education. She is also the Founding Director of the Foot and Ankle Physical Therapy Fellowship Program and a faculty member in both the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program and the Podiatry Residency Program. Her research and clinical practice focus on foot and ankle management, gait analysis, and orthotics prescription.
