Dr. Elizabeth Palermo Baorto, MD

Dr. Baorto seriously needs to improve her bedside manner. She is incredibly rude and arrogant.What does she have to be so arrogant about? From what I can tell, she consistently makes the wrong diagnosis. She NEEDS to learn more about LYME. She needs to update her skills. There is a common theme in all of the complaints about her. People are coming to her because they are hurting and they need help, and she ignores them as if they do not matter. She makes them feels like they are crazy or they must be depressed. I know this from first hand experience. If she is unable to have compassion for her patients, she should really consider another line of work. Maybe she should do research in a lab instead?

My family somehow became infected with bartonella (lyme co-infection) a couple of years ago, and she could not diagnose and wasn't interested in helping us or referring...waste of time.

Dr Baorta is very sarcastic! She is not knowledgeable in 2013 illnesses. She needs to educated herself on current illness not ones from 1940. She also was sarcastic and degrading the way she talked to my child and his issues.

she was helpful and is a mom, but as a specialist, has no answers for lyme in my 6 yr old... she continues to put him on antibiotics :( this is not necessarily her fault just the nature of this insidious condition
