Dr. Elizabeth Catherine Berigan, MD

I've been her patient for years and just want to affirm how great she is. Her clinical skills, patience, outstanding judgement, and kindness all deserve the highest commendation.

Dr. Berigan took care of my mother for many years. I got to know her well during her final weeks of life. She was compassionate and spend over and above the time necessary to help with care. She talked with the family and was instrumental in all of us getting through this difficult time. Since I am a physician myself, I can tell you that she is what you want in a physician, but rarely find.

Dr. Berigan is a thorough, analytical, knowledgeable, communicative, and compassionate doctor. She is the best!

Dr. Berigan is one of the few doctors that shows a genuine interest in your health and improvement. She spends the amount of time that is needed to understand your case and never rushes you. If hospitalized , she goes above and beyond to insure your safe treatment. I know few doctors that are as dedicated to patient care as she is and consider myself very fortunate to call her my doctor.

Dr. Berigan is fine on the other hand some of the ladies at the desk are horrible. I have never been spoken to or had my grandmother spoken about like what just happened. Fortunately I have been in this office twice now so this conversation was recorded and under no circumstances should I have been spoken to the way I was. Complaints will be filed.

Takes the time to really listen. I never feel rushed.

Sheis an Internal Medicine doctor.This doctor made my visit with her fun.She engages you and you feel like she really wants to get to know you as a person. I went in for a yearly physicaland she a very complete history and the physical exam was thorough as well. I got into see her through a friend--she is that good--that she doesn't usuallytake new patients.

Dr. B. is a physician par none. She looks at me as a whole person--plus she has a great sense of humor. So manydoctors are in a hurry--there is no way they aretaking the necessary time to address my problems. This doctorthinks. Orders tests. Refers to high quality specialists whenneeded. Every specialist she has sent me to has beentop notch. This type of doctor is rare and should be thenorm. Someone has got to do something about healthcareso that doctors like Dr. B. stay in medicine for a long, longtime. She is the only doctor I have ever had that I thoughtreally was interested in me. She has to save tons of dollarsin medicine--she knows what tests I've done, when, the results--and doesn't repeat things unnecessarily (which isgood--tests wear me out and are especially demandingwhen you are old like I am!) She also treats me like a person-I may have an old body--but she treats me like an equaland is never dismissive. 5 stars*****
