Had breast reduction...results...2 different size breast and one with no nipple...had bad infection from multiple come backs to fix stitches that kept coming out..insurance would not cover an implant..and that's when I got the letter in the mail..she will make it good for $5,000...my smaller breast..with no nipple..has a hole...she didnt even make that right...she is a horrible doctor....bedside manner changes when she has done wrong...please shop around..dont go on a referral..shop around..read reviews....

We were new to the area, having been here just one month when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My doctor and I decided on a mastectomy with breast reconstruction. Dr. Blakemore was recommended by my surgeon as the doctor to handle the reconstruction. From the first time I stepped in the door, I knew this was the place for me to be! Her ENTIRE Staff has been incredible! They are knowledgeable, professional,kind, supportive, and empathetic. I was greeted so nicely! I was a breast cancer patient, not totally knowing what was in store for me.Yes, I had checked out the internet, and talked with many people, but I still had fears! I sat down for a few minutes, and then was called back to an exam room. Dr. Blakemore and her nurse, Ashley, came in. Everything was explained clearly to me and she and her staff were excellent in surgery and throughout the reconstruction and healing process. If you are looking for a FANTASTIC Plastic Surgeon, please make an appointment with Dr.… Blakemore !!

My experience with Dr. Blakemore and staff is one of total satisfaction. The consult was totally detailed and professional and she put me at ease right away. She told me exactly what to expect after my blepharoplasty and forehead lift. Before and after surgery she was very engaged in being sure my pain was managed and I was on track in the recovery process. I am totally pleased with the outcome! I highly recommend Dr. Blakemore and the Upstate Plastic Surgery staff.

I am an RN and have had two procedures done by Dr. Blakemore and couldn't be more satisfied with the results. She has been honest about what can and cannot be done, and isn't pushy about adding on procedures, as some plastic surgeons can be. She also has a light touch with the needle, which is appreciated. I will definitely go back to her.

No one will compare to Terrance Bruner my first plastic surgeon and the best. I found Upstate Plastic Surgery through a St. Francis Hospital System database and was scheduled to meet with Dr. Blakemore. I wasn't impressed with her at first. Her website does not show photos of any prior scar reconstruction surgery and for that reason alone I was anxious. She seemed hesitant to want to preform the surgery on my scar. When I explained to her what I needed done and why the first thing that she told me was that we can't always have what we want but then she softened and has been amazing throughout this entire process. I keep going back to her because of her willingness to work with me and the way that once she listened to me she was willing to go above and beyond for me.
